By using AurumSafe, you agree to this policy.

1. What We Collect

Account details: Your email address when you sign up. We never store your password in plain text.

Jewelry data: Information you add about your items — names, descriptions, karat, weight, purchase price, and photos.

Documents: Receipts, certificates, and any files you upload. These are stored securely and only visible to you.

Basic usage data: How you use the app (e.g., which features you tap) to help us improve the experience. This is anonymous and not linked to you personally.

2. How We Use It

• To provide and run the app
• To keep your account secure
• To back up and sync your jewelry records
• To send you important account notifications
• To fix bugs and improve the app

We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising.

3. How We Protect Your Data

All data is protected with industry-standard security:

• AES-256 encryption — your data is encrypted at rest in our cloud storage
• TLS encryption — all data sent between your phone and our servers is protected in transit
• Secure login via Amazon Cognito with token-based authentication
• Cloud infrastructure hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS), Singapore region

No system is 100% secure, but we take every reasonable step to protect your information.

4. Who We Share It With

We do not share your personal data with third parties except:

• AWS — our cloud storage and hosting provider
• Amazon Cognito — our authentication provider
• Family vault members — only if you choose to share your vault with them
• Law enforcement — if required by law or court order

5. How Long We Keep It

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all your data is permanently deleted within 30 days.

6. Your Rights

You can at any time:

• Access, correct, or delete your data from within the app
• Request a copy of your data by emailing us
• Delete your account and all associated data

AurumSafe is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
